The Clovis Rodeo is also one of only 7 rodeos in the world that are part of the Wrangler Million Dollar Gold Tour.  From Greg Gillard, President, Clovis Rodeo Association, "...PRCA rodeo action will begin on Friday night [April 22, 2016] and mark a new era for the Clovis Rodeo, as we increase our prize money to become a Wrangler Million Dollar Gold Tour rodeo.  The cowboys go where the money is and our Gold Tour status will ensure the best rodeo athletes continue to call Clovis one of their favorite stops on the circuit.."
