95th Annual Red Bluff Round Up - April 15, 16, & 17, 2016

Editors Note:  The Red Bluff Round-Up is part of the PRCA California Circuit.  The PRCA/WPRA California Circuit Finals Rodeo will be held October 7 & 8, 2016, at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds in Lancaster, California.  The top 12 PRCA CA Circuit Cowboys and Cowgirls, in each event, will rope and ride for the Circuit Championships and Year End Championships at this event.  For more info, please visit website /Facebook (we would love for you to give us a "Like").

The place to be this weekend for Professional Rodeo at its finest -  The 95th Annual Red Bluff Round-Up!!!!  Northern California is in for some serious PRCA/WPRA California Circuit Rodeo Action!!!   So many fun and exciting events have been happening during Round-Up Week - and the first performance of the 95th Annual Red Bluff Round-Up is tonight (April 15, 2016) at the Frank Moore Arena, Tehama County Fairgrounds.

On Saturday, April 16, 12016, you will not want to miss the Round-Up Parade - The World Famous Budweiser Clydesdales will be on hand and they will also be at Saturday's Rodeo Performance.

Sunday's performance (April 17, 2016) is dedicated to Tough Enough to Wear Pink!  All fans are encouraged to wear pink to show your support.  Also happening Sunday - The Wild Ride - Always a fan favorite!!!  "...Every Sunday, on the last day of the Round-Up, cowboys don crazy costumes and ride bucking horses, for the honor being the Wild Ride champ, a check for $1,000, and a prize saddle. Cowboys have dressed up in all kinds of costumes, and the lady responsible for those costumes for the past dozen years is Red Bluff's own Maryanne Montandan..." Bob Tallman ( website ), ProRodeo Hall of Fame Inductee (2004) and 8-time PRCA Announcer of the Year award recipient, along with Wayne Brooks ( website ), 4-time PRCA Announcer of the Year award recipient, will bring a vast amount of knowledge and experience to the rodeo arena to keep rodeo fans abreast of all of the exciting rodeo action at the Red Bluff Round-Up.

The Flying U Rodeo Company (Website / Facebook), along with several sub-contractors, will provide the animal athletes for the 95th Annual Red Bluff Round-Up.  Barrelman Clint “Wolfey” Selvester   Facebookalong with Bullfighters and Pick-Up Men Eric Layton ( website ),  Bronc Boehnlein ( Facebook ), Mitch Coleman ( Facebook ), Bobby Marriott ( website ), and Matt Twitchell ( website ), will be in the arena to keep our cowboys and animal athletes safe.

PRCA Photographers Bob Click ( website Facebook ), Matt Cohen ( website / Facebook   / Instagram), Phil Doyle ( website / Facebook ), Dan Hubbel ( Facebook ), Larry Smith (website ), and Kirt Steinke  ( website / Facebook ) will capture all of the exciting moments and memories!  Be sure to check their websites and social media pages to purchase your professional photos!

The Flying Cowboyz will also be performing at the 95th Annual Red Bluff Round-Up!

Rodeo Secretary Cindy Rosser ( website Facebook ) will ensure a smooth running office operation and Rodeo Timers Sherry Sheldon-Gibson ( Facebook ) and Robin Yerxa ( Facebook ) will be on hand for all of the timed events.  Your Sound Engineer is Chuck Lopeman.

While in town, stop by the Red Bluff Round-Up Museum and take a little trip back in time!  There is so much history!  Hundreds of photos (dating back to 1918), bronze sculptures, saddles, and so many other artifacts that tell the history and the traditions of the Red Bluff Round-Up, are on display.  You do not want to miss (link).

The PRCA California Circuit would like to take this opportunity to once again thank the Red Bluff Round-Up Committee for their hospitality in hosting our Circuit Meeting in January 2016, at the Red Bluff Museum.  A great time was had by all !
