The Santa Maria Elks Rodeo was held June 2-4, 2017 - Sold Out Crowds!!!  Congratulations to the Santa Maria Elks Rodeo Committee, along with their volunteers, sponsors, and contract personnel, for producing an outstanding rodeo and thank you to the Santa Maria Community!  What a weekend at the Elks Unocal Event Center!  The best PRCA Cowboys and WPRA Cowgirls gave audiences what they wanted; Non-stop rodeo action!  Thank you to the Santa Maria community for supporting your Santa Maria Elks Rodeo!  Thank you Rodeo Fans!

Editors Note:  The Santa Maria Elks Rodeo is part of the PRCA California Circuit.  The PRCA/WPRA California Circuit Finals Rodeo will be held October 13 (first performance) & October 14, 2017 (2^nd and 3^rd performance, and award ceremonies), at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds in Lancaster, California.  The top 12 PRCA CA Circuit Cowboys and Cowgirls, in each event, will rope and ride for the Circuit Championships and Year End Championships at this event.  For more info, please visit website /Facebook (we would love for you to give us a "Like").

In an interview with the Santa Maria Times, Elks representative, Johnna Clark, said the stands were sold out for every performance.  “Thousands of people chose to stand and just be at the rodeo even though they couldn’t see the rodeo.” Clark said. “We talk rodeo, but this is so much more than rodeo. It really is the biggest community celebration that we have here, and it’s so great to see everybody come out and enjoy and celebrate but, more importantly, to give back to their community."  Additionally, fundraisers like the Rodeo Queen Contest and Cowboys Kickin' Cancer "raised unprecedented amounts for their respective causes.  Congratulations!  For full article, please visit ( link ).
