Heidi Mae Bird, Miss Norco Mounted Posse 2012
Miss Norco Mounted Posse is 19 year old Heidi Mae Bird, a current resident of Corona and 2011 graduate of Norco High School. She plans to attend Mt. San Antonio College in the fall to study equine science and ranch management. She is still involved with Norco High FFA, working with her agriculture teachers to achieve her American Degree. She plans to use her college education as well as FFA achievements to own a fully operational quarter horse ranch and livestock breeding program to support her hometown FFA chapter.
Heidi has grown up around horses and has gained so much experience with the people she has met, connections she has made, and opportunities it gave her. When she was 16, she aspired to represent her backyard of Norco by running for rodeo queen pageants. Heidi is so blessed she achieved this title and plans to make the most of it by traveling to as many rodeos as possible, representing Horsetown USA. She would like to thank all of the sponsors that put on our rodeo in August, as well as the Norco Mounted Posse for our rodeo and queen pageant competition. (photo used with permission)
