Matlyn Matta - Woodlake Lions Rodeo Queen 2012
Hello Everyone! My name is Matlyn Rose Matta. I am the 17 year old daughter of Robert and Rosalie Matta. I was born and raised on my parent's Horse & Cattle Ranch.
All of my life, I have been riding horses - from Western Pleasure to training colts, or just simply joy riding. The western way of life has always been in my blood. I thank my parents for providing me with the luxuries of the cowgirl way of life. I was given the opportunity to run for Miss Woodlake Lions Rodeo and I am so proud that I was chosen to be their Queen. Thank you to my closest friend who helped me through the whole competition! I would also like to give special thanks to my horse, "Dude"; if it were not for him, I surely would not have won - so "Thank You Big Guy".
I would like to thank everyone who sponsored me and who have helped me along the way. I am so proud to be representing the Woodlake Lions Rodeo, our Lions Club, our community, and most of all, the most beautiful rodeo grounds.
