66th Oakdale Saddle Club Rodeo:

Spring has once again sprung and that means the PRCA/WPRA California Circuit is back in action and it all starts today, in the "Cowboy Capital of the World", Oakdale, California!!!

This weekend, April 8 & 9, 2017 - It is the 66th Annual Oakdale Saddle Club Rodeo!!!  There will be a whole host of community events leading up to the PRCA/WPRA CA Circuit Rodeo performances at Oakdale! Editors Note:  The Oakdale Saddle Club Rodeo is part of the PRCA California Circuit.  The PRCA/WPRA California Circuit Finals Rodeo will be held October 13 & 14, 2017, at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds in Lancaster, California.  The top 12 PRCA CA Circuit Cowboys and Cowgirls, in each event, will rope and ride for the Circuit Championships and Year End Championships at this event.  For more info, please visit website / Facebook (we would love for you to give us a "Like").

 

The first performance of the 66th Annual Oakdale Saddle Club Rodeo is today, April 8, 2017 at 1:00pm.  This morning, the community got to be a part of the Oakdale Rodeo Parade!  The Grand Marshals for the parade -  Drs. Peter and Pamela Warner - Both of these admirable individuals have been outstanding members of the Oakdale community and have worked closely with, and have whole-heartedly, supported the youth in their community the past 25 years.  Congratulations Drs. Warner!  Thank you for all you do! Be sure to stick around after tonight's rodeo performance for the "Rodeo Dance".

The second performance of the 66th Annual Oakdale Saddle Club Rodeo is Sunday, April 9, 2017 at 1:00 pm.  But, you can start out your day with wonderful people at "Cowboy Church" with Coy Huffman - (10am - Oakdale Rodeo Grounds Club House).

All of the PRCA and WPRA California Circuit Cowboys and Cowgirls are ready to rope and ride!  You are not going to want to miss any of the non-stop rodeo action!

Congratulations to your 2017 Miss Rodeo Oakdale, McKensey Middleton!  We wish you a fun-filled and memorable reign!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank your 2016 Miss Rodeo Oakdale, Rachel Snitchler, for her invaluable assistance at the 2016 RAM PRCA California Circuit Finals Rodeo!  You presented both the Oakdale Saddle Club Rodeo Flag, as well as the Circuit Finals Rodeo Sponsor Flags, with skill, grace, and charm!

Four Star Rodeo Company ( Facebook ) will provide the animal athletes for the 66th Annual Oakdale Saddle Club Rodeo.  Your PRCA Rodeo Secretary will be Haley Bridwell and your Rodeo Timers will be Sherry Sheldon-Gibson ( Facebook ) and Diana Alexander. Your Sound Engineer will be Chuck Lopeman.
