PRCA Cowboys and WPRA Cowgirls are ready to rope and ride!  They will hit the arena tonight for what promises to be an action-packed first performance of the 53rd Annual Lakeside Rodeo! These cowboys and cowgirls will give it their all during all four performances of the Lakeside Rodeo!  The actions starts tonight with the first performance starting at 7:30; Performance Two – Saturday, April 29th – 2pm with Performance Three at 7:30; Performance Four – Sunday, April 30th – 2pm.

You do not want to miss the Rodeo Parade on Saturday, April 29th – This year’s theme is “Courage, Honor, and Sacrifice – A Salute to our Law Enforcement.  On Sunday morning, you can attend “Cowboy Church” at the Lakeside Rodeo Grounds.

Editors Note:  The Lakeside Rodeo is part of the PRCA California Circuit.  The PRCA/WPRA California Circuit Finals Rodeo will be held October 13 & 14, 2017, at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds in Lancaster, California.  The top 12 PRCA CA Circuit Cowboys and Cowgirls, in each event, will rope and ride for the Circuit Championships and Year End Championships at this event.  For more info, please visit website Facebook (we would love for you to give us a “Like”).

Congratulations to your newly crowned Miss Rodeo Lakeside 2017, Sabrina Collett!  We wish you an exciting and memorable reign!

Veteran PRCA Rodeo Announcer, Don Jesser, will be on hand to call all of the rodeo action, keeping rodeo goers abreast of what is going on in the arena.

Barrelman Kevin Higley will be on hand to entertain the crowds and help keep our cowboys and animal athletes safe!  Stock Contractor Western Rodeos ( Facebook ) will provide the animal athletes for the 53rd Annual Lakeside Rodeo.  Your Sound Engineer will be Anita Jesser.  PRCA Photographer Gene Hyder will be on hand to capture of the action in the arena – be sure to visit his ( website Facebook ) for official photos.

Rodeo Secretary Susie Mills will ensure a smooth running operation and Rodeo Timers Sharon De La Grange and Mary Borgen will be on hand for all of the timed events.
